How to read our status labels

We tell you where each product really stands.

Election technology has to be trusted before it is used. So every product on this site carries one of five status labels, and we only move a product up when it has earned it.

Status: Live: In production use today.
Status: Pre-launch: Built and being prepared for launch.
Status: Active development: Being built now.
Status: Concept: Designed; not yet in development.
Status: PRD available: Fully specified; build not started.
